stroke style: width don't work correctly with group and tutorial

Using tutorial:
Open "Help>tutorial>inkscape basic"
Go to "Creating shapes" section.

Select Rectangles and make a group (ctrl+G)
then, go to "fill and stroke>stroke style"
Try to change "Width".
Don't work correctly with "%" and "px".

Tested with: Inkscape 0.48.3.1 r9886 (ubuntu 12.04)
and Inkscape 0.48.5 r (ubuntu ppa inkscape)

Section: fill and stroke

Select the first set of 7 circle,
Go to "fill and strocke>stroke style>width"

And try to increase width by cliquing on "up arow"
Wait, be patient: see excessive result.

Also, impossible toi use "%". It force to "px"

Tested on Crunchbang Waldorf, Inkscape trunk revision 13534.

No need to use the tutorials to reproduce it. Just create two shapes and group them. Then it's a bit difficult to change the stroke width with the arrows, and when typing the value directly in the box, the change is applied but the box value is reset to 0.

Nothing wrong here, as long as the circles are not grouped.

When using %, the unit is also reset to px (even if it was set to another unit before). If I don't apply the % value and change the unit again, Inkscape applied a 0 width stroke.
Note that I sometimes need to select % twice before it is selected.
