snap to grid fails silently when snapping to original target

Open the attached document in inkscape-0.91-pre1 on Windows 8.1. Current 4 snap options I have on: Enable snapping, Snap nodes paths handles, Snap cusp nodes incl rectangle corners, Snap to grids.
Using the Select tool, put your mouse over one of the lines. Then drag the line around.
Note that when the line is ostensibly snapping to the original grid point, that in fact no snapping is happening at all.

Not seen in inkscape 0.48.1 on Windows 8.1.

Behavior is seen on inkscape-0.91-pre1-win64, to be precise. I haven't tested the 32-bit version.

Also encountered with trunk (r13445 and earlier builds) on OS X 10.7.5: snapping to the original location (e.g. snapped to grid intersection) fails - it works if snapped to a different target first, and then snapped again at the original position.

@Diederik - maybe you could take a closer look?

Based on tests with archived builds on OS X 10.7.5
- not reproduced with r13332,
- reproduced with r13333;
possibly related to the changes in revision 13333:

Test case used with archived builds attached:
1) launch inkscape with default (new) prefs
2) open attached file
3) grab grey rectangle near its top left corner, and start dragging
4) try to snap the dragged object to original position (guide origin/guide intersection upper left)
