Bug Description
Inkscape version: Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939 (Apr 21 2014)
OS - ArchLinux: : 3.14.1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Apr 14 21:01:08 CEST 2014 i686 GNU/Linux
Window Manger: WindowMaker
Launch inkscape
Click Help menu
select FAQ (or "Ask a question", or "Keys and Mouse Reference")
Inkscape pops up a window stating:
Inkscape has received additional data from the script executed. The script did not return an error, but this may indicate the results will not be as expected.
The text field in the window states:
(process:3296): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed
The help information does actually appear in my browser (Firefox), but since my browser window was off in a different workspace, I didn't notice it right away.

Not sure what issue is actually reported for Inkscape here (is user expectation that Inkscape somehow forces the browser to move its window with the just opened tab into the current workspace and raise it to the top, or for Inkscape to suppress/ignore any warning returned by applications launched via the extension system (e.g. for the items in the help menu)?
The critical warning is likely from Firefox (see e.g. bug #1160569) - nothing to be fixed in Inkscape itself.
