shifted image when saved as svg

I have a black and white image I have saved as a jpeg file. I created an svg file for sure cuts a lot. when I open it in sure cuts a lot software the image is shifted. i have never had this problem before and it has done this with 2 different images. i have uninstalled and reinstalled inkscape. please help.

could you supply some more information:
- attach the original jpg file that you started with
- which OS are you on
- which version of Inkscape were you previously running, when it worked?
- which version of Inkscape are you currently running, which does not work?

also, one more question, it looks as if the svg file contains a path, not an embedded image. How did you convert from a jpg image to a path?
