Proposal for Inkscape Redesign

Hey guys,

I stumbled upon an amazing image in Deviantart:

It is a proposal for the redesign of Inkscape, I report important here because the number of users of Inkscape would rise enough, since the most attractive visual has more appeal, especially if skinning of a program for drawing.

Come on! This is the real thing. Why is it still undecided?

It's not undecided, it's wishlist. If we had a few million dollars in investment, we'd certainly be looking into things like this.

But volunteer time being what it is, and paid development focusing on items important to the people who pay those developers, you end up with wishlist items that are this big not being executed on. It could be split up and given to developers one bit at a time and creating a personal/social relationship with some of the volunteer developers certainly helps make some things happen too.

So are you unhappy because it can't be made to happen?
