Bug Description
Create a pattern.
Make an object with the new pattern as its fill.
Copy the object to the clipboard.
Paste the object into another application.
It will paste:
Nothing (clipboard is empty); or
A large white square; or
The shape but without the pattern.

Likely a combination of bug #404826 and bug #669267 (copy to clipboard using 'Cairo PNG' as exporter, and 'Cairo PNG' not fully supporting pattern fills).
