Bug Description
I'm running inkscape 0.48.4 in ubuntu.
Inkscape does not start when one of the recently opened files is located on an unresponsive file system.
The strace output stops at a command:
stat("/mnt/... .svg"
This blocking should not happen in my opinion. Just for completeness: in my case the unresponsive file system is due to a remote NFS share which I can not umount when the server is not available at the moment. Then there is no other fix as reboot - which is a bit annoying.
Actually inkscape stats lots of files that have nothing to do with inkscape at all but (presumable) are recently opened files of other programs. Maybe these tests can be considered dispensible at all?
Cheers,
Matthias
