Bug Description
Exporting an SVG in Inkscape to an xcf file will only output to 90 dpi, regardless of what is set in the Export dialogue.
To reproduce:
Create an SVG in Inkscape
Set the export resolution to anything otehr than 90 - File > Export PNG image
Save the file as an XCF file - File > Save As > XCF
Open in Gimp
Observe the image resoltution/dpi - Image > Image Properties
Tested in Inkscape 0.48+devel+

Using the PNG export preference is a bit complicated (Gimp XCF is a Python+Script-Fu extension), but the attached version allows you to choose the resolution directly in the extension dialog.
Please test!
