Text on path - disappear/hide when drawing new object

Affected versions:
- inkscape r12816
- Inkscape 0.48+devel r12217

Tested on Windows XP and Windows 7

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached svg file
2. Draw a rectangle (other shapes may or may not have the same effect)
3. The text objects that is put on path now dissapear.

Not reproduced on OS X 10.7.5 (default prefs for each test) with Inkscape trunk r12211, r12219, r12816, r12832.

Reproduced (with difficulties) on Windows XP, Inkscape trunk revision 12832. I managed to reproduce it twice (not very reliably) with the following steps:
1. Draw some rectangles (10-12), some overlapping the text (partially) and others not.
2. Undo 5 ou 6 times to see the text disappear.
3. The text reappeared when redoing, and stayed when undoing again.
