marker deletion from the xml editor breaks undo history

draw a line
set a marker
open xml editor
delete marker def => the marker disappear on the drawing
ctrl Z => marker is restored in the xml editor but not on the drawing

Now it will start behaving strangely
The undo menu always "set markers" no matter how many ctrl-Z you do...
You won't be able to set another marker...

Reproduced on Windows XP, Inkscape trunk revision 12812.

After undoing the "Remove node" action, I can set a new marker from the Fill and stroke dialog. Undoing again then redraw the first marker.

You can set marker from the marker dropdown but not from the marker "history" drop down

launch inkscape
draw path
add marker
delete marker using xmledior
ctrl Z = undo delete node
ctrl z = undo set markers
ctrl z = undo set markers (?)
ctrl z = undo set markers (?)
ctrl z = undo set markers (?)

(next would be be undo draw path)
you can stop at any step and try to redo you won't get back the marker anymore.

or

launch inkscape
draw path
add marker
delete marker using xmleditor
click the marker that has been added in the history list of drop-down marker. Nothing happens. (The history list is out of sync)
add a new marker
ok but the history list is not refreshed : you can see the old glyph but not the new one.
if you click the old glyph in hsitory then the marker is removed.
add a new marker
the history of marker is good again
