(not a bug report) Need a "mesh gradient" in inkscape

I actually clicked on the link for "request features". I believe with mesh gradient in inkscape, inkscape will definitely be the best vector software in the world. It's a feature that corel draw and adobe illustrator already have. I will be glad if this feature can be included in the next release of inkscape. Just in case someone actually reads this, to all the people that have been contributing to this great software I say thanks a lot.

Why limit us to mesh gradient ? Go directly for diffusion curves, that would be way better
