Bug Description

Since I am not a programmer or developer, I am unsure what you need to know "codewise" .
I DO log 25-40 hours a week (on my own time) playing with Inkscape.
Here is my problem:
when modifying a drawing using combine or union, either extra stuff is being removed or is appearing to be removed. both cases has happened.
I am willing to work with whoever by sending before and after images via email , if it will help. if code is required for you to debug . I will need an alternative until I can finish my schooling on this.
I do believe in what Inkscape represents . I will watch for email regarding how I can help.

Please provide information about your OS/platform and Inkscape version (see Inkscape menu 'Help > About Inkscape').

To allow further investigation of the reported issue, please attach sample SVG files (1 - original, 2 - incorrect result) to the report and detailed steps to reproduce (so that it can be tested with different Inkscape versions on different systems).

Ok here is the first time I have caught a bug outright. I apologize for not
having a "before" version. I didnt see it till way too late for that.
the process is fairly simple.
I start with a simple element( a line or a polygon) , then duplicate it.
modify the duplication somehow by rotation, resizing, union, difference
etc... sometime multiple changes occur but rarely more than 2 . I am
including an svg that has 2 objects. 1 is a bitmap copy the other is the
original form where I saw the bug.
I am using a samsung satellite with windows 7. browser is chrome (if that
even counts).
Inkscape version is Version 2, June 1991, I just downloaded this recently
to see if other things would be fixed but unfortunately I haven't got back
to those yet.
I sincerely hope this helps!
best of luck to you!

In addition to an email I am sending the picture with the problem involved.
I am guessing you have the process I used still on file .
If I had a way to set up a hot key to immediately send info to here when things happen, that would collect the info you needed at the same time i would do it in a heartbeat.
