Bug Description

After the following steps, segfault occurs.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Start Inkscape
2) Choose Extensions > Rendering > Hershey Text

Backtrace attached.

Versions:
Inkscape trunk-r12583
glibc 2.18
glibmm 2.36.2
gtkmm 2.24.4
gcc 4.8.1
