Gaps between shapes

Bug Description

When creating shapes and placing them so that they touch one and another, there sometimes are gaps created that are only noticeable on certain zoom levels but when exporting a bitmap, they are shown very clearly.

Confirmed as an issue as i recreated the same shape in Illustrator and loaded it in Inkscape to find it has added gaps to that.

Nathaniel, could you please attach an example SVG file so that we can try to reproduce the issue?

Likely a duplicate of
- Bug #170356 “Suppress antialiasing artefact at the object boundary”
  <https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/170356>

(whether or not object boundaries are visibly antialiased against the transparent background depends on zoom level for on-canvas rendering, and on image size/dpi for bitmap export)

Based on the bug description, the underlying issue is very likely already tracked in bug #170356.
