Bug Description
For some reason it is impossible to set alphas in Inkscape now. If I drag the alpha slider anywhere, it snaps back to '255' on the color wheel or '100%' on the opacity slider. I am using the newest inkscape-trunk; the problem just appeared today.
My system is Ubuntu 13.04.

Could you please check which revision this is (see name of the installed package)? AFAICT r12470 or later is not yet available as PPA (r12471 failed to build): /launchpad. net/~inkscape. dev/+archive/ trunk>
