Bug Description

Hi,

I just found that memory leak also caused by select/deselect object.

1. Draw a spiral
2. select the spiral
3. now click on any area in inkscape (i.e. deselect the object)

I have created one tool that will gives me physical memory used by the application. Here is the log.

Ok. I found out.

I open the inkscape and I also open my 'memwatch' application. I did the following thing.

1. select text object
2. add text again and again and memory keeps increasing.

So it is something about everytime inkscape create new tspan for the text object? why memory increase with simple adding text to the text object?

Will debug in further details and gives you more information.

Thanks.

I tried, but could not notice anything leaking. Is it still happening with the latest version?

Also can't reproduce this with Inkscape 0.92.4 release version on openSUSE TW 20190310. Do you still have this issue?
