Bug Description

1. I converted an SVG document to PNG with Inkscape 0.48.3.1 r9886 on Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS.

$ inkscape -e output.png input.svg
(See attachment)

2. Tick texts overlap the X axis of the graph in output.png. But when you open input.svg in a browser (Chrome, FF, IE), it doesn't happen.
(See screenshot.jpg)

Confirmed on Windows XP, Inkscape trunk revision 12387.
The text uses a dy attribute with a value in "em". Apparently, it works correctly with px, mm, cm, in and ft (and probably others) but not with em.

Changed in inkscape:
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Triaged
tags: added: svg
