Symbols view doesn't update

Many operations do not update the symbols for the 'Current Document' when that is selected. The problems include:

 * Creating a new symbol (Object > Symbol > Group to Symbol)
 * Removing a symbol (Object > Symbol > Symbol to Group)
 * Cleaning Definitions (File > Clean up the document)
 * Importing a document with symbols (File > Import)

Selecting a different symbols collection and then reverting back to the 'Current Document' refreshes the icon view correctly. So hooking in some more signals should do the trick.
