Ctrl+Surp or Ctrl+BckSpc dont work in text editor

Bug Description

I use to Ctrl+Surp or Ctrl+BckSpc to erase words in text strings instead character by character but i saw that this doesnt works in the inkscape text editor.

I confirm the shorcuts don't work when editing on canvas, but they do work when using the Text and Fonts dialog (see Bug #515267 "CTRL+DEL and CTRL+BACKSPACE in text boxes doesn't work", currently in progress ).

Could you please confirm?

Yes, CTRL+BACKSPACE and CTRL+SURP don't work when I try to edit Text Objects on canvas and it works correctly in text boxes of the app.
