Snap to guides not working

Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939 doesn't allow me to snap my object to guides.

Settings are:

    Snap to objects: Snap only when closer than: 20
    Snap to grids: Snap always
    Snap to guides: Snap only when closer than: 20

These settings always worked with previous versions

«When snapping nodes, it is no longer sufficient to enable only the button "snap nodes, paths, and handles". Please enable "snap cusp nodes" and/or "snap smooth nodes" too»

Please add a comment here and revert the duplicate status if you don't agree and think these are different issues.

In this specific case, please enable "snap to guides" instead of the other two buttons mentioned by ~suv.
