pen and selection tools lack features found on FreeHand

Bug Description
When using FreeHand one could:
- hold down command key to move a just placed node
- shift would nicely constrain to angles --- this is standard for most vector drawing programs and should be honoured, at least as an option
- option would free the previous off-curve node --- as shift does now --- please honour standards set by other programs
- control-click to select the next object down in a stack
