Bug Description

Hi,
I imported the attached ai to Inkscape and exported it to emf, so that I can insert it into Word 2010.

When doin' so the ai shows the footer correct but when exporting to emf the red line is prolonged to the end of the black line.

Any ideas on this one?
Regards, Ralf.

Likely clipping is not supported for EMF export (the red path is clipped with a rectangle) -> duplicate of bug #649744?

<off-topic>
Same issue when exporting to EMF using current build of work-in-progress branch <lp:~inkscape.dev/inkscape/lp988601> (bug #988601) with rewritten cross-platform EMF and WMF import/export support) - content verified by round-trip editing in Inkscape.

Actually I can't say 'cause I'm no Illustrator guy, I'm just the coder. Nonetheless it seems plausible to me.

Sadly bug #649744 is open since 2010...? Any idea if and when this may be assigned ?

@Ralf: Inkscape is a volunteer based project. It will be assigned when someone assigns it to themself because they either need or want to fix it.
