Font selection with arrow keys in toolbar stopped working

Dropdown font selector can not be changed with arrow keys, here's the behavior in latest trunk :
- Using the text tool to write some text.
- Click inside the fonts dropdown menu selector trying to change the font with arrow key (arrow "down") :
First two fonts changes are applied, but a third keystroke revert back to the first font, and I can't select anything else than the two first fonts.

I can actually change to whatever font I want if I try to select a font direcly from the drop down menu with mouse click or if I use the "shift+ctrl+t" tool but it's quite time consuming.

The problem as I see it is that the fonts at the top of the list get reordered and that the selected item in the list changes from the n-th to the first position. While discussing this with ~suv in IRC the idea came up to postpone the reordering of the list (and selecting the first entry) to focus loss. So as long as you cycle the list with arrow keys everything would work as it used to work, but once you hit enter or click outside the font list the currently selected font is added to the top of the list and selected there.
