Is there a particular action that triggers the bug?
Does it occur with any document?

Basically if you draw some lines and starting selecting an working with the knots. Drawing boxes and try to click on some buttons on the menu bar, i doesn't take long that the curser is not changing to the corespondant funktion.

Most of the time in the knot mode. I can make some further testing but it happended to me all the time. Just worked with the knot tool and sooner or later it started.

I will report back if i find some representative example to duplicate.

Windows 7 32-bit, 0.48.4.1, Wacom intuos 4

Is this possibly an early variant of Bug #1131428 “Loss of correct mouse focus (interference with Windows 7/8 desktop window manager)”?

@GurgiONE - Would you be willing to try the workaround explained by Steven in Bug #1131428, comment #14 (see below), so that we know if your report is a duplicate or not?
----
"I opened Performance Options in Control Panel and selected "Adjust for best performance" in the Visual Effects tab. This disables all the window effects like Aero, smooth scrolling, etc. This setting fixed mouse behavior on the affected computer."
