Bug Description

Hi,
I'm quite new to Inkscape but I've had this problem lately. How to reproduce :
1- You need a multiple screens setup so that the upper left corner of a boundary box enclosing both screen is not shown on either screens. Kind of a L turned counterclockwise for 90 deg.

2- take a .eps file, right-click it, open with > Inkscape.
3- Press Ok on the "PDF import Settings" window.
4- Watch as the inscape window appears in the top left corner, mostly out of bounds. The bottom part is visible in screen 1. If I put my taskbar on the left of screen1, the window is also under it.

* Bug #379463 “offscreen dialogs”

(missing or failing checks for document and dialog windows whether window position is inside current screen - AFAIK PDF documents use an SVG template defined in the prefs file [1] which does not set window position in <namedview> -> it defaults to x=0, y=0).
