Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Run Inkscape 0.48.4 (Windows 7)
2. Drag a PNG image from your desktop onto the Inkscape document.
3. Path > Trace Bitmap
Expected Behavior: The Trace Bitmap dialog should appear
Actual Behavior: Nothing happens

Not reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.4 on OS X 10.7.4 (works as expected).
Did you happen use Inkscape with a multi-monitor setup in-between? I.e. could it be that the 'Trace bitmap…' dialog window actually opens, but off-screen (see also bug #379463)?
