Bug Description
In the L-system extension rules applied by the algorithm don't correspond with the desciption of rules in the help:
in the algorithm with - command the turtle turns left, while the help says that with - command the turtle will turn right; similarly, in the algorithm with + command the turtle turns right, while the help says that with + command the turtle will turn left.
Usually the command - corresponds to the turtle turning right, while the command + corresponds to the turtle turning left (so the help is correct, considering the convention rules).

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.4 and Inkscape 0.48+devel r11998 on OS X 10.7.4.
Likely the extension (or rather the help text) doesn't take the inverted coordinate system of Inkscape's GUI into account: AFAIU the directions (+: turn left, -: turn right) refer to the SVG coordinate system (origin in upper left corner of the page, y-axis pointing downwards), and not to the GUI coordinate system (origin in lower left corner of the page, y-axis pointing upwards).
