Next time, please provide basic information (in the bug report itself, as text) about your OS/platform and Inkscape version (see Inkscape menu 'Help > About Inkscape), and attach a sample file which triggers the crash, or at least include a link to the download page for such a file (e.g. the one used in the video [1]).

Another hint with regard to that specific file: since the objects in the original version of the icon have no colors set at all (the black is actually an 'unset' fill), the color extensions won't have the effect you are expecting unless you first assign real colors to (some of) the objects).
