Rotation of Tiles clones is opposite in direction to that of the Transform tool rotation

it would be good to have the same direction of rotation in both the Transform tool, the Create Tiled Clones feature and every where else that rotation is defined or indicated numerically.
As I experience V 0.48 positive values of rotation are counterclockwise in the Transform tool under the Object menu (Shift + Ctrl + M) while the direction in the Edi t> Clones > Create Tiled Clones transform is clockwise.

The Ellipse/Circle tool is another context which uses positive values for clockwise direction, unlike the 'Transform' dialog.

Note: the issue is less "consistent" (or "inconsistent") with the recent changes to the 'Transform' dialog in current trunk, which now has a new option to toggle the direction (bug #512247).
The default direction in 'Object > Transform > Rotate' in current trunk is still the same as in current stable: positive values rotate counterclockwise.
