Bug Description

I've been using the PC desktop version of Inkscape for years and never had this problem, but I tried using the latest portable version of inkscape and the save dialog seems to break. After install the save function works fine once or twice and then save stops working. The window flashes but the save window never pops up. this happens in save, save as, and save a copy. After this happens, even if I change computers and OS's it still happens. I have to uninstall and reinstall and even then it's still only good for a few saves and then it goes out again. I have inkscape installed on a 1 gb usb flash drive.

Yeah. its the same bug. I'll have to wait until portable is updated to 48.3 or I might try and reinstall, and just save in a folder on the flash drive rather than to the root directory.
