Bug Description
on Ubuntu 12.1 using Inkscape 0.48.3.1 r9886, if i open the attached SVG document and click EXTENSIONS -> COLOR -> RGB Barrel , inkscape crashes and closes displaying an empty message box with just an ok button.
however on windows using the windows release of inkscape this issue does not happen.

Unfortunately, Inkscape 0.48.3.1 has a rather annoying regression with regard to running extensions with certain documents.

The current official release for Windows is still 0.48.2 which does not have this bug.
