Document size (mm) won't stay precise size

Inkscape 0.48+devel r11859
WIndows XP sp3 Norwegian

When a document has a width and height given in milimeters as whole numbers - 600mm x 400mm - and saves the document, it changes to 599,99998mm x 399,99999 mm nex time I open the document.

- not reproduced on Windows 7, Inkscape 0.48.3.1
- reproduced on Windows XP, Inkscape rev 11861

- the difference appears to be somewhat deliberate. On Inkscape 0.48.3.1 the spin box displays only 2 digits after the decimal point, with the result that the roundoff process leads to a precise result.

- on recent devel version the spin box displays 5 digits after the decimal point, so there is no rounding off occurring, when there should be. I would suggest that 2 digits would be better.

thanks for finding that report, I had thought that the change would have been more recent than that.
In that case I would suggest using 4 digits. This would provide more precision than most of the other spin boxes which often use 3 digits, and it would still be sufficient to solve this particular bug report.
