Bug Description

When inside 'Inkscape' I cannot just click 'print' icon. experiments to date are that I have to change at each request to 'Bitmap' format rather than default 'vector' WHY.
I recieve a message within my printer queue 'processing' but nothing is happening.
if I change from vector to bitmap and send a second request a second item appears in the print queue.
Only when I cancel the vector print request does the second request change fro pending to processing, to printing. and the print job is executed.
I have a bog standard Epson Stylus SX210 printer. I downloaded more drivers, just to ensure no conflict, but same problem.
If I change to LibreDraw, import the same graphic file IT PRINTS ON DEMAND????????
Resolution would be good.
I can find no way of making the change from vector to bitmap a default.

I'm on Windows, so your interface may look different than this. This is just to check to see if any output is being generated while in vector mode.

Good day to you,
When operating under Windows (XP Pro, SP3) there are  no issues.
I checked the setting port wise and we are connected via usb as normal not Lpt1
Which I think is a very outdated way of connecting any peripheral device these days.
The comment regarding saving as a print to file works and is saved but extraction to 'Print' results in the same non action,
i.e 'Processing'.
The file in question is a simple clip art manipulated under Inkscape and then expected to be printed for trace to glass.
/home/geopol/Pictures/Screenshot from 2012-11-07 22:55:57.png

The screen shot above still is able to print test, print self test and head clean. So there are no comm's problem between printer and Linux.
Problem exists within Inkscape as already mentioned. When same file is print requested from other software 'It Prints'.
S.O.W.E.T.O.N. A South African understands this as So Where to Now???
Regards.
Geoff.

Good day to you,
The results you asked for are attached.
I tried during the 'print to file to save in pdf, ps and svg formats.
All have the same result when it comes to output,(screenshot of printer queue)
As a new member of the Linux community things are a little different.
When I first started to list the problem I was inside the Inkscape FAQ site and noted that there
were several similar queries for the same problem.
When I had finally navigated to an input box I had been directed to 'landscape',
so not easy to understand whom you are trying to talk too, or how to report a problem.
Again I am uncertain of the version of Inkscape, as it was mounted within UBUNTU 12.04
and I am not aware of how, at this time, to interrogate the software for details.
Regards.
