Bug Description

Inkscape sometimes in the past tend to freeze or crash with larger images ,

Granted I'm Atypical for IT , user IMPATIENT .... , When things break we fix, but personal time after the day is done can be scant

SO we just wana do our few tasks quickly n be done....

If I pushed Inkscape , a touch less during my less Frequent Use...... I prolly Wouldn't crash it.

if It were faster and IE 64bit , I'd likely use it far more often , but offten closing incape useing very large files in Ink Scape crashes the program.

I have tons of Gigs of ram , so if Inkscpae uses 2-3 gigs of my 16 gigs it's no sweat, and with that large of ram space along with images it won't have to use Virtual ram and grind to an Irritating Craw on larger Images.

and Often many reliable 32 bit programs seem to work like crap under 64bit due to all the emulation. the 64 bit builds scream with thunderous speed, and do not bog down.

64 bit firefox with more extensions enabled on its 32 bit in maximum power user mode ( granted I should nix a few or disable them normally I might Have a few too many....? ) however the 64 bit Beta chews through without a hint of crashing.

as the Windows 32 on 64 WOW emulation isn't grinding things down to a slow craw.

I'm hoping once Inkscape soon starts stamping X64 Windows builds , that I see less of the freezing etc, sluggish-ness .

I've noticed with a few Exceptions (more beta-ish x64 projects first time ports or bleeding edge )little crashing . since they can use the memory more quickly.

Should the tag be win64 instead?
