Bug Description

I'm finding that idle instances of inkscape.exe are driving CPU use where they aren't actively doing anything, thereby slowing other active applications.

I've attached a screen shot showing 3 instances of inkscape.exe, one of each left in these states:

- nothing selected
- one object selected
- text tool active with insertion point selected

Although relatively low CPU use, what is it doing that it has to use any when idle?

I'm using inkscape.exe on Windows XP SP3 running in a VirtualBox VM allocated with 1 CPU and 2GB (the host OS is Windows7 Intel Core i7, 8 processors, 8GB).

@~suv Possibly duplicate. Funny, I did do a search before posting and missed that. I'm using current v0.48.2.
