Bug Description

Using Inkscape 0.48.2 r9819 on Windows Vista SP2 64bit
On some PDF's that are opened, edited, then saved, where some or all text is NOT "text" format, but rather vectors, the output PDF's capital E's get "closed" making it a rectangle with line across. When saving as SVG the error is not present. It is desired to have the PDF edited then saved as PDF again, but the error occurs. The PDF can be converted to an image PDF then edited, but loss of quality and large file-size is not desired.
