Bug Description

Inkscape does not print to this printer. No user error is generated. Just fails.

It could, of course, be the driver's fault, so feel free to say "not me" and close it if you're sure. Inkscape does print to other printers + PDF.

Attached 'troubleshooter' report from Ubuntu 11.04.

- do other applications successfully print to this printer?

yep, inkscape is the only one to have probs. libreoffice, gimp, gnome's
pic viewer, digikam, evince, acrobat reader...

thats why I think it could be a quirk of Inkscape.

cheers for looking into it.

Which version of GTK+ do you have installed?

Similar to
- Bug #975972 "Inkscape sends jobs with zero page size"

this could well be another duplicate of

That returns the soname/soversion of the installed lib, but does not tell which version of GTK+ you have installed (e.g. 2.24.8 or 2.24.10) - the library soversion does not change with dot releases (usually).

Try this:
$ pkg-config --modversion gtk+-2.0

That command gave errors for me.

I can offer:

$ wajig version libgtk2.0-0
libgtk2.0-0/natty uptodate 2.24.4-0ubuntu2
