Bug Description

As discussed on the mailing list...

Inkscape source currently has 100 blocks of conditionally-compiled code for supporting GTK+ 2.20. This old library version is used by Debian stable, and Ubuntu Lucid, but has been replaced in stable releases of all major Linux distributions.

At some stage, we should drop support for GTK+ 2.20 to improve maintainability and readability of our code. If there are no objections, I will take care of this within the next few days.

No objections raised, so I've dropped GTK+ 2.20 support in lp:inkscape r11529. I've updated the dependency table on the wiki.
