Bug Description

When using multipath, and using 'root=UUID=xyz' in the boot args, there
is a period of time after which multipath has marked /dev/sd?? busy,
but before which udev has updated the link /dev/disk/by-uuid/xyz
from /dev/sd/? to the corresponding /dev/mapper/????. If scripts/local:mountroot
tries to mount root during this time, it will fail.

With this patch (or, the equivalent applied to the lucid package) I was
able to use the 'root=UUID=xyz' boot cmdline and successfully boot with
multipath.
