now playing doesn't display cover or text when there are accentued characters in artist's name

Now Playing version 0.3.4.3
I use Quodlibet on Ubunti 10.10.
Now Playing works when I listen to, say, Sting, for instance. But not when I listen to "NHØP (Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen )" or to "Esbjörn Svensson Trio". But if I edit the tags and change Artist to "Esbjorn Svensson Trio" (so ö/o), then it works.

By "doesn't work" I mean : the frame is still there, but it is empty. And it remains empty until I play an other artist without "funny" characters in the name.

Oh, I just tested : noy playing doesn't any "funny" characters, bun not only in the name. Same for Album. But *not* in Title. I'm confused...

Hello Olivier,

can you please provide the log or console output when this happens. I tried to reproduce (installed Quod Libet 2.3) and this all works for me. Maybe the bug corresponded to Quod Libet and was fixed meanwhile?
