Bug Description
I've lost all my notes. After starting the laptop there appeared a message saying that there was some problem with reading the sticky notes backup file or something like this, I don't remember now.
Anyway all my notes are gone and also settings have been reset - previously I had a white background, now I get a default yellow again.
I'm on ubuntu 18. Recently there was some kernel upgrade which was very problematic - wifi card was not working, there are problems mounting /boot/efi. That's why I enabled a startup grub option to let me choose the kernel I'm starting with. I don't know if it matters.
Is there any way to recover the lost notes?
