Bug Description

To reproduce:

Install indicator-stickynotes (via deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/umang/indicator-stickynotes/ubuntu xenial main)
Run it (if it does not run automatically after installation).
Go to the panel, where the (nice!) sticky-note icon is.
Select any of the options in the stickynotes indicator's menu.
Result: nothing happens.

Solution: run indicator-stickynotes from terminal. Then it works - even after one closes the terminal (and runs indicator-stickynotes from the application menu).

The version of indicator-stickynotes for Mint 17 (= the version of indicator-stickynotes designed for the previous Ubuntu release) didn't have this problem.

Frequency of problem: always

Thank you for reporting this problem. This is odd. Unfortunately, I am not able to fix bugs that don't affect Ubuntu at this time. However, if the fault is actually in Indicator Stickynotes and not Cinnamon, I will gladly review patches.

It might well be that Cinnamon is at fault. For I find Cinnamon to be (still) pretty buggy. On the other hand, the problem may be with my system.

I'll leave matters here.
