Bug Description

Hi

I have a small feature request:
It would be handy to be able to use a keyboard shortcut to show/hide all notes on the desktop, such as META+H or anything else. So you could gain access to the notes in a much quicker way than through the app indicator menu.
Unfortunately there is no command line option which could do that so I am asking you if it could be possible or if it is useful in your eyes.

Thanks for your request. If anyone is interested in submitting a patch for this, I'd be happy to take a look. However, I won't be able to write this myself in the near future.

Changed in indicator-stickynotes:
status: New → Triaged
importance: Undecided → Wishlist

Don't know if anyone is still interested but I was, so I've fixed this:

running indicator-stickynotes twice will raise the first instance,
so setting a shortcut keybinding to indicator-stickynotes with your
preferred method will show notes without the need to click on the
app indicator.

I've also done more improvements if you need it (title support, link support... )
on my github fork (https://github.com/lesion/indicator-stickynotes)

Hi Johnny,

Thanks so much for all your changes! I do want to read through all the changes you've made and simply don't have the time for at least a week (more likely two). Expect to hear from me later this month.

Would be awesome to have this. There's no decent notes app on ubuntu available right now, all of them are faulty in ways. This is the closest thing to what I'd like a notes app to be, but I am really missing this feature! Any chance this gets done?
