Note window too tall, cannot resize

System: Ubuntu 12.04.3 (Precise) on older single-screen laptop
Desktop Environment (DE): Cinnamon 2.0
indicator-stickynotes version: 0.4.2
Screen size: 1280x800

When new note window is created, it is too tall to fit on the screen. Bottom edge of the window is inaccessible off the bottom of the screen, even with the DE bottom panel hidden. I cannot resize the window because any resize control area that might exist in the lower right corner (I can't see it, so I don't know if it even exists) is not reachable with the mouse, and the window cannot be stretched by the edges like most windows. Bottom line is that there is no way that I can find to make this window fit on-screen.
