Old versions of the volume tray icon allowed the user to hover over the icon and scroll up/down to adjust the volume. Not highly discoverable but for those that knew about it, it was an efficient way of adjusting the volume that minimised click-fuss.
If this behavior could be preserved it would be much appreciated by those that made use of it. |
Currently you cannot adjust the volume by scrolling over the volume indicator applet.
