Bug Description

What about adding a "Suspend" entry to the dash, in addition to the "Restart" and "Shutdown" entries?

I may find it useful to quickly suspend my desktop computer or my laptop (which is attached to a docking station).

I think this is a valid bug report. Currently you cannot suspend using the dash depite being able to shutdown and restart.

I guess it is appropriate to also add indicator-session to the list of affected projects since (AFAIK) it provides the other session-related (Restart, Shut Down) entries.

I'm about to propose a patch but I am undecided about the route to follow:

- Should I add the relevant functionality to gtk-logout-helper and call it from the desktop file or...
- ... can the desktop file just invoke dbus-send to perform a method call on org.freedesktop.UPower.Suspend ?

Linked the branch which contains the "naive" fix.
