Bug Description

After upgrading to Karmic, I cannot find a way to disable the screensaver lock that appears upon resume from suspend (using the session menu).

In Jaunty you could edit a g-p-m gconf entry, but that no longer seems to work.

A solution that solves the problem for me: Enabling /desktop/gnome/lockdown/disable_lock_screen in gconf.
However, with this checked I'm not able to lock the screen at all, so a better solution is very welcome.

I'm not quite sure where this bug should be filed, but it seems reasonable to have it as a bug to me. So I'm confirming and assigning it to someone that is more likely to know than I am.

There is currently no gconf key check and we lock the screen systematically on suspend, unless the lockdown mechanism prevents that.

Which jaunty key were you using in Jaunty?

In Jaunty I used /apps/gnome-power-manager/lock/suspend.
