Bug Description

The graphic output of a value can be scaled using the "low value" and "high value" from the preferences menu. Additionally, it is possible to enable a warning (I guess above / below, as I only see the german translations "Über" and "Unter").

I set the scaling for my CPU temperature as follows:
Low value: 35°C
High value: 60°C
Warning: above

The warning is now displayed if the CPU temperature is above 35°C. From my understanding, it would rather make sense to display a warning when reaching 60°C.

Stefan
(Very nice applet, anyway! :-)

In the sensor properties window, next to the 'above / below / disabled' selector for the alarm, there should be a spinbutton which allows you to specify the alarm value - ie. you select above and then say specify 60 as the value so the alarm goes off over 60C. Can you check the value specified there?

summary: - indicator-sensors wrongly reports a high temperature

Yes, there is indeed a spinbutton! I could not see it first, as the properties window always extends over two Desktops upon opening, also when maximizing. Please see the screenshots below. I tried to resize the windows, but that's neither possible nor will the new size be saved.

This should be fixed in git now - https://github.com/alexmurray/indicator-sensors/commit/51f1cf6138dde1787af5012b21f760aa46343d1e - and will be in the next daily build as a result.
