Bug Description

I upgraded both of my computers to Ubuntu 21.04 and since then, the graphs don't display on the top bar.

I can see the CPU percentage just fine, but I'd like to see the graphs too.

I am running indicator-multiload v0.4

Thanks!

Just upgraded to 21.04 and I'm having the same issue. Reducing the 'System monitor width' to ~15px causes overlapping graphs to display at a very small scale.

There is also a noticeable performance hit when multiload is running. Mouse movement is slightly jerky.

Version of indicator-multiload is 0.4-0ubuntu5.

It appears as though it decides the indicator is too wide and so suppresses it behind an ellipsis.

I installed Ubuntu 21.04 this week and couldn't make it work. As @thargy said, it seems like the panel decides the indicator is too wide and put an ellipsis. I can make it show something when reducing the width size, but keeps pretty useless.

I tried activating in Gnome Tweaks -> Extensions -> Ubuntu appindicators, but nothing happened.

I'm using indicator-multiload version 0.4-0ubuntu5

I have the same issue. I would like to add some info that might help correct. My laptop is running 22.04 in unity mode and the system load indicator is running just fine. I just built a desktop and I installed 20.04 which ran system load indicator just fine in Gnome. I upgraded it to 22.04 and the problem started. When UBUNTU switched back to Gnome from unity the system load indicator didn't work unless I ran in unity environment at first. That is part of why I kept the unity environment until now. I have been using UBUNTU since around 09. The system load indicator worked great in the Gnome environment before. It took a minute to get adapted to the unity environment when UBUNTU switched to that. Now it seems that the changes for unity are what is causing the issues with Gnome. If any further info or details from me will help... My email is chas1066@yahoo(.com).
