Bug Description

I've spent my day yesterday stuck in login loops, and formatting again and again my PC just to try to have a working computer. I have been re-installing Ubuntu 18.04 from different images on different hard disks expecting a hardware malfunction that causes some bug. Finally, I had no choice but to go back to my old laptop.

This morning, with the laptop working fine and without faults, I have decided that I enjoyed the software so I'll install it.
Not 5 minutes later, I have gone straight to login loop.

To be sure it's System Load Indicator that causing the bug, I have uninstalled it, and restarted my laptop.

lo and behold, the login loop has stopped.

Same here. I've managed to fix my desktop on Ubuntu 18.04 by selecting Gnome Classic as DE on login. There I removed the indicator-multiload package and was able to login with the default Ubuntu DE.
